What happened in January and what’s the plan for February?
January has been a busy month!
I created a mock-up pair of pants using the Buttericks R11507 pattern. This was not an easy challenge. While the pattern itself is pretty easy to assemble, I did not have the correct size. To make the correct size pants for my daughter, I had to dabble in pattern altering, which I have little experience with doing. Then, I created a mock-up pair of pants.
The mock-up was not a perfect fit. Our future project will involve altering the mock-up and assembling the final garment.
I am excited for you to follow me while I learn to make pattern adjustments and create a finished, wearable pair of pants for my daughter.

Hello Friends,
Happy New Year! I just posted my first YouTube video, titled “Sewing McCall’s L9507…By Hand. No Sewing Machine”. I created the McCall’s L9507 pattern to gift to a close friend of mine. Hopefully, she will love it.
What coming in the future? I am working on getting a website online so that my fans can subscribe and receive updates from me. If you are reading this first newsletter, then I must have succeeded.
I am also starting my next sewing project which will feature Butterick R11507, B (the pants) pattern. This video will require me to me some creative adjustments to the pattern, since the pattern I have is too small. The new video will be uploaded in February, on my YouTube Channel.
